Any help would be appreciated because I also had the same issue with the drive with Windows 8 so rolling back will not help at all also.

I’ve taken the liberty gas attaching the logs and any help given is greatly appreciated. This bug affects 3 people. If this is indeed just a faulty drive, that is some relief, because the drive can be replaced Blu-Ray here we come! Thanks for marking this as the answer. On Arch it seemed to work fine on a little test I did a little while ago with polling disabled. My intention was to run a cleaning disk through the burner, the type you would run in your DVD set top player to clean dust and debris from the burning laser.

Whats the hold up with gea this resolved?? However, I did try some experimentation to see if Windows 7 can re-recognize the drive if it was removed. Did this solve your problem?

So I think this is more a driver problem than anything else. Do you want anything else from me, to get this off the dime? Search in titles only. Right now, I’m leaning toward ‘s suggestion of a belly-up burner.

I haven’t found the procedure to rollback in case firmware upgrade fails At least, if no one is doing any investigation, or flat won’t work on it, they should at least acknowledge that there IS a bug here.
